Job Description
Androscoggin is the summer home for 275 boys between 8 and 15 and 100 staff. Since 1907, campers and counselors have been playing sports, participating in a host of individual activities, exploring Maine, forming life-long friendships and sharing summers to remember. We are located in Wayne, 20 miles west of Augusta. Our campus covers over 125 acres on the shores of Lake Androscoggin.
Our campers are with us for one 7 week session and participate in all the activities we offer. Each counselor is an activity specialist.
Openings include: Mountain Biking, Climbing, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Lacrosse, Waterski, Sail, Windsurf, Fishing, Swimming, Canoe and Kayak. Office position also available. Position could be residential or day
It is a great opportunity to work with kids in a relaxed, supportive environment. A chance to have fun and have an impact.
Salary between $2000 and 2500, plus all travel expenses and room & board.
Dates for 2018 are June 14 to August 11.
