This year the topic was Chinese history. We covered ALL of Chinese history. Needless to say, it involved a lot of reading and looking up words. We have quizzes everyday on each chapter. We also take turn to teach the class; 2 people are assigned to each chapter and become "student teachers." Midterms are hard, because we have to memorize all the data in order to answer short-answer questions. Everything we do is in Chinese. She grades the exams differently for native speakers and non-native speakers.
Overall, she's a hard teacher, but you will notice a huge improvement in your Chinese.
